Quarter #2 : END OF 2023...SEASON FINALE📣📣

Summary... —🎮🎮

Goddamn...this quarter was pretty well....WACK! This quarter literally so many things happened!! Well to start off...my dad went on his trip to Maine for two months....(he mostly helps me with math....😕) sooo basically in short, I had way more responsibilities at home... ALSO THIS QUARTER, we started magic notes! Magic notes are actually rlly fun man!! Like...I love adding fun things on my magic notes and reading abt my magic notes in other people's blogs!! AnYwhAY..Next key event of this quarter was the fact that the GTs joined us this quarter!! The GTs were Jacob, Dylan, and Naomi! (naomi is so funny!) Bro I never thought me and Naomi would be like BESTIES. (jk I did lolls) Ngl the GTs aren't rlly that bad! even though I like didn't like them much at first, over the second quarter I kinda realized that "Hey they aren't so bad after all." MOVING TO THE NEXT THING!! aka ......(drumroollll)...... NHD! BROO I FINALLY FINSIHED. Johnlester was NO help at all... I literally can't believe how unreliable he is. like...i gave him an entire week to do research, finished our annotated bibliography, and our conclusion. BUT his only contribution was TWO sources (they were both from wikipedia and history.com...aka uncredible sources...so I couldn't rlly use it at all...) our secondary section for our annotated bibliography and a small conclusion. THREE THINGS. I could literally list EVERYTHING I did....I did all the research...(aka three different docs,) I did the entire board, (which took me an entire night and I didn't sleep...AT ALL.) I did majority of our student generated words, I literally printed out everythin and like EVEN MADE A SIGN...tbh I don't even know why I chose johnlester as a partner...biggest mistake ever.....(hse so aanooying bruuu) Also this quarter we had family nite and recognition night! RECOGNITION NIGHT WAS LOUD....Jayden was telling me abt it last quarter...Literally Jayden was like straining his voice!! and erm...cassell..was like kinda erm..dying! Also this quarter, I still upheld a good grade in math! Honestly it was so difficult....I struggled alot...since my dad wasn't there to help me...but I pushed through dawg!! Speaking of grades, there were some surprises with my grades this quarter man...like science...oh and also I've been falling asleep in my classes lately...which is like bad...but the thing is that I would sleep through more than HALF the class..its not even like jsut a few minutes of shut eye and then I'm focused again... Omg also some other things that happened this quarter was bowling, turkey trot, and halloween!! So I'll talk about Halloween first. I dressed up as a character from chainsaw man named, Himenoo...but literally only a few people knew who I was...(alex kept saying anime things and it was lowkey funny but kindaa annooyennn but I dont mind) Moving on, turkey trot was pretty funny...everyone was making their hats and stufff....(dylan kinda was a leprechaun instead of a pilgrim...) Cassell and Mal even dressed up a bit!! Turkey Trot was so hot bro... Anyways I also went bowling for the first time this quarter!! Honestly man...it was pretty crazy with the stuff that happened to alex...but like cassell got 0s the entire first game (LOL) but he taught me a bit soo I won't make fun of him! Also there was a bit of drama that happened this quarter between a few people....lowkey it was pretty cray crazy but I'm glad that they both made up and stuff and are chill!!! Next thing that was like pretty crazy was that I made winter decorations for the classroom!! It was really exhausting to make and personalize like 23 penguins....but it was worth it! even though it got taken down a week later (sob) but atleast I learned something from...decorations..! We also had the winter luncheon this quarter! I brought chili and I'm glad people liked it :3 AND JAYDEN said sooome crazy things that day....like eating-nevermind...AAA also this quarter I like cut my hair at the last week...(I look like dora bro...but I honestly just can't wait for my hair to grow out...it doesn't look that bad at all actually..) The final thing I wanted to talk about that happend this quarter was that we started Yearbook..I'm assigned to the 7th Grade Mugs!11! with sienna and alex! Tbh I don't know why we took so long to start the mugs but like we did...but that's our fault...but anyway at the end of this quarter we got a good amount of the 7th grade mugs done!! Which is great!! Overall, this quarter wasn't so bad. It was quite tiring though...but that's nothing a break can't fix.

Highlights & Lowlights... —

There are A LOT of highlights of this quarter is that I became friends with the GTs, and I was able to help them with things they didn't understand! Another highlight of this quarter is that I feel like I became closer friends with a couple of people over this quarter. I feel like I have more trust in them and I feel like it's easier to talk with them. Especially for things like magic notes, advice, or just random conversations in general. Another highlight is that I saved a lot for a guitar!! I can almost buy one!!! Just a couple more dollars!! Oh also...I quit dance! That's a highlight because like I feel less stressed now! Having dance take up majority of my schedule...and that it's not even something I enjoy doing...wasn't really fun..but joining fishing was literally so much better...I was having waaaaaaaay more fun than before. Onto my lowlights! My first my lowlight is that my grade when down for the most unexpected classes...LIKE AVID???@?!?!? for one, Mrs. Scarbourugh, my notes are completely fine. how did I get 18/20?? Cornell notes really sucks....I heard they push it onto in highschool..WHICH SUCKS. ALSO SPEAKING OF GRADES, in math I like failed my intergers test bruuhh....intergers is like the easiest thing in the world lmaooo-another lowlight is that..erm ive been like really sleepy and haven't had much time to devote to my hobbies...like I haven't drawn a lot...and I haven't been animating either...which actually sucks bc my hobbies help me really like..isolate myself and reflect on stuff...another lowlight of this quarter is the fact that day when it was raining and pouring, my shoes got soaked bc i was playing in the rain and like..my shoes were almost thrown out... :-/ ALSO ASLO another lowlight of this quarter is that my brother like went to the hospital twice....pretty stressful since a lot was going on at the time and like...I almost like...I just didn't feel like myself for a few weeks...and honestly...it's pretty normal but like...I've honestly been questioning a lot of things and it's been really messing with my brain lately. But I always find my way through!! This quarter honestly was more good than bad! which is really good!

Lesson(s) Learned ... —

I learned lots of things this quarter. Especially nearing the quarters end. Some lessons I learned was that...taking initiative is very important. plus, it's like being a self-directed learning. Another thing I learned was that breaks are important, but breaks shouldn't be all the time. IN addition, I learned that waiting for something to happen when there's nothing to wait for is something that you definitely shouldn't do. for one, nothing will happen unless you do something, two you're not taking initiative. My final important lesson of this quarter is that Leadership is never about ability. it's about the ability to understand the responsibility you are given.  With the ID incident...I realized how important to realize that not everything is fun and games. Getting careless will mess you up. 

What I Look Forward To... —

I look forward to many things in 3rd Quarter! One of them being, finishing up yearbook pages and another being how fast quarter 3 will fly by....But the thing I really look forward too is my interview for leadership next year. I honestly am very excited and I'm working really hard on my talents, my presentation and for answering questions. Since the interview is looking for like traits and is about our experience, I'm going to prepare myself and rely on the things I've learned from my current experience in leadership...And another thing I really look forawrd too is learning everyone's dances completely for orientation! and learning my script! Honestly It seems like a lot...but I'll manage and do a good job.
