Weekly Blog #26 : LIVELY WEEK! (2-26/3-01)

 This week... — 🧨🧨

this week felt sorta long but quick at the same time?? if that makes sense. . . im just glad that everything went smoothly this week! To start of the week, I got my guitar!! and of course the first song I learned was whatever my dad requested. . .  aka blue bird frm naruto. . .  It was actually pretty easy! anyways . . . my guitar is red guys!!!!! (it was the only nice color there yk) Dude there was like so much that happened this week! okay okay so. . . I worked with Jayna for wristbands for dress out and I think that she was erm. . . annoyed??? nah maybe somewhat idk! anyways it was so funny just talking to her yk.. but like.  .. she was annoyed! about something . . . (im trying to get better @ reading people okay//) MOVING ON!! the dressouts for spirit week were actually not that bad! I honestly thought I would struggle on sports day (i did) but like I managed to get something 2 wear!! Since like I always have trouble on sports day since I cant fit my old soccer stuff from 2nd grade. . . also this week for ELA we did SBA practice for ELA tbh Im not really worried too much about ELA because its easy all you need to know is the basic structure and how to word things out and like write ykwim. (i dont know how to cite) uhh for AVID, . . we finished up iur career research project and like. . . I HATE CORNELL NOTES. cause like yk that they force you to use it throughout high school and only stop like pressing you to use it until you are a senior. . . I feel like notes should just be like anything cause all that matters is that you understand your own notes and not always does a certain note format work for EVERYONE. Speaking of seniors. . . my auntie told me that she only gets half days and like two periods only. . .!! but at first it seems cool but like...  its kinda like going into adulthood earlier cause you gotta have a job or something to do after those two periods yk. also this week it was Leyla, Dylan, and my Auntie Sheila's birthday! Hapyp birthday to them! Imagine being born on February 29?? like... you would be like 3 or 5?? during the math mini activity, me jayna and olivia were just doing some of the problems and uh... I CANT MULTIPLY. I was literally dividing instead of multiplying...(how the heck did I get an academic award) there was like alot that happened this week! like PENNY WARS! dude donovan literally came up with a bag of pennies?!?!? also dude... THE LAST DAY OF PENYY WARS WAS WILLDDD!! also this week we did lots of dance practice! we made a lot of progress! we practically are like 95% done of mikayala's dance she just needs to go over the begging more clearly! and we also got a small overview of what the rest of Olivia's dance is so I have an idea now! another thing that occured this week is family nite for ELA!! it was pretty boring. . . the teachers were like not even at there stations. . . yk my favorite family nites so far would be the electives and science cause of the free snacks and for the electives its the fun and big variety of activites. Yk for wednesday, mal wore this silly socks and she kept saying that they were going to eat me and that the fish was going to tell me secrets or smt... we also had the SCC meeting and like it was lowkey boring! we talked about uniforms and changing the uniforms and the 6th grade buildings a multipurpose building something about i bulding and also the security fence aroudn campus blah blahh... and of course I complained about the HUGE logo...and I literally got jumpscared by my own alarm... it woke me up though. Speaking of waking up, I kept waking up too early this week. and I fell asleep so easily... even when I told myself I was going to do stuff since I had stuff planned! for ss we have to do a timeline and me and char are planning on doing a roller coaster! which is very fun man! and like I'm excited and all but we have a week now....aka (three class periods..) so we're gonna have to put extra extra time into it (i hope theres extra credit man bc me and char gonna work like crayzy) im glad char isnt annoyed about working with me.. :P! ALSO the relay races were so funny.... LOVE THE MUSIC CHOICES GABBY!!!!!!!!!!!! omg dude cassell's fits for spirit week were absolutely like fire...ESPECIALL HAWIIAN DAY... HE WENT ALL OUT LMAOO LIKE I WAS LIKE... "who the heck r u man??" and mal said he looked like mr ing and like I COULD SEE IT LMAOOSDKSAODJAS

Highlights... —

I actually have a good amount of highlights this week :0! To start off, I saved about $510 for my guitar!!! (I have like 200 smt now :3) anyways. . . I also started learning R U Mine by arctic monkeys and I got like halfway through the song!!!!! Im just not that fast . . . :/ another highlihgt is that I was talking about these people who are like bare foot but wear shoes. . . WITHOUT THE BOTTOMS. and Mr. Ing said that should be a dress out as a joke. . . BUT LIKE IMAGINE THAT. . . thats so erm. . . ew. . . it’s so stupid and strange! OH OH another highlight is that a random dude paid for my stuff at sevens (i was getting another dog crate! I got the dalmatian) anyways THANK YOU WHOEVER YOU ARE! I AM IMMENSELY Grateful. Me and joolin were too scared to go up the police officers during family nite!!! like joolin went and said she commited 20 felonies! (dw joolin im awkward too... ill commit another 20 more with you <3) On Wednesday, aka mix matched socks day, me and naomi danced without our shoes and only our socks and like we were slipping and sliding (love ur daisy and donald socks naomi) another highlight is 8-3's sychronized swimming! there's was my fav...cause it was supper creative man. like i loved the sword- i mean pool noodle clashing! it literally reminded me of a full on cartoon and I freaking love it! also my dad bought a keyboard... Im not sure why.... anyways I finished like four stories / writing pieces guys.... (mal its not what you think it is...) anyways I had lots of fun... also for some reason I had fun making the avid presentation (i feel like a nerd bru) cause like I already knew a lot about the career I was researching anyway. I also started doing lineart for my animation cause I kept falling asleep but all i gotta do is fix the hair and color and done. (coloring is my favorite part) and highlight is that I finished my mn on tuesday and we dont have a fav mn paragraph... cause writing the summary was very timeconsuming cause it took me way more than 10 minutes...(normally takes me 10-15 minutes to do my blogs) oh in addition to my highlights, I put cassell number on the science board and like…HE GOT CAALLS FROM PPL LMAO…MY FINAL FINAL highlight is that yearbook is practically wrapped at this point! all we gotta focus on is orientation and Im excited.

Lowlights... —

- I FORGOT REESE'S GIFT DUDE. . . (im so sory reese :( . . ) My second lowlight is JAYDIN. (yes) for one, hes having fun in California making snowmen and he didn't even eat snow. . . also becuase its kinda boring without jaydin sometimes . . . (JAYDIN COME BACK) another lowlight has to be fishing!! I COULDNT TIE THE RIG GUYS... without jaydin I prolly wouldve taken like ten times to do it.  Next lowlight. . . SBA. okay so ela is prolly gonna be a breeze and Ill score decent. . . but for math... im gonna be on like the edge... ALSO part of sba being a lowlight, WE HAVE A TEST ON WEDNESDAY. like calm down Mrs. Chen! Im literally already too occupied. the biggest lowlight of this week would be that 7-3 DIDNT WIN THE CHEER OFFS. like erm... Im not salty about the scores and stuff... the spirit week overall was pretty eventful and nice but like I kinda wish we won... but all the teams did amazing actually... I really liked both 7-1 and 7-2s...anyways Im not a sore loser so womp womp oh wells! moving on I didn't really eat this week... and like uh I was kinda dizzy too and my vision kept blurring which is so ridiculous cause WORDS WERE LITERALLY UNREADABLE. but I got food later on in the day so im good now... another negative of this week was that I kept falling asleep and like I kept waking up too early and its annoying. anyways my final lowlight of the week is that I think Im going insane? nah thats an exaggeration.. because I had all my wristbands on but when I woke up they were all over the place like it wasn't even ripped it just slipped off of my arms like WTH... (no cause like what if Im sleep walking again...) 

Lesson Learned ... —

- my lesson learned is that time goes fast. 2020 was 4 years ago… the LEGO MOVIE WAS 10 YEARS AGO… okay back to my point… it’s almost the end of 3rd quarter. 4th quarter is gonna feel like forever but I know it’s bound to breeze by. I’m honestly gonna miss our 8th graders…but it’s to early to be thinking like that! After all we still have how many weeks and months together! I wanna cherish it all. ALSO I LEARNED checking your work is important (not me getting ALL MY math homework wrong..)
