Weekly Blog #10 : SWITCH A ROO!! (10/17-10-20)
This week... —π π
was just a bit overwhelming. To start off my (not) amazing week, my dad left on his trip to Maine for two months...meaning more responsibilities for me at home...I have to take care of the fishes and clean out both of the fish tanks and feed the fishes. ENOUGH ABOUT HOME!! It's the start of second quarter and I started off with a Unit Assessment in Math! What a great way to begin...! I feel like I'll score low on the test tho...Anyways! For social studies, we're learning about the abolishment of Kapu which isn't that difficult at all. But seriously. That NHD project just taunts me in the back of my brain. I despise it incredibly. I have yet to finish my sources, but I'll make sure to finish it by the middle of next week. FOR SURE. Also, me and Mal kept switching clothing like two times this week. I really felt like an absolute cartoon character this entire week. Literally nothing felt real. Like I was literally floating of into space and my brain was a hollow husk. Honestly, I've been thinking about quitting Strictly Ill... lowkey... I just feel so exhausted when I get home. To top it off, I have all my responsibilities around the house. It just takes up too much time and I feel like things would be so much easier for my mom if I got home early and helped out... I'll come to a conclusion sometime. I also brought tails to school on Tuesday...ALEX KEPT SAYING that he had...DOWN SYDROME. That is literally so unkind to Tails. Tails might be a bit...special... but that's a good thing about him! Anyways overall this week was WACK.
Highlights... —
My first highlight is Me and Mal's clothes swap! Mal's Jorts made me look so stubby... I literally felt like I was slowly morphing into Kirby! People were calling me construction worker on Wednesday since me and Mal swapped our orange shirts. SOMEONE EVEN CALLED ME DAD...people can be SO weird sometimes. Another highlight of my week is that I finally got to watch a show that I've been DYING TO SEE. It's called Fiona and Cake! It's Adventure Time but for older audiences. It brough back so many memories and surprises as well! My final highlight is that I cleaned my room throughout this week. My computer isn't acting up anymore either so doing work will be easier.
Lowlights... —
My first lowlight is that Reese got sick this week and so did Biaani. Alex keeps saying it's the "Leadership Disease!"...Lolz. Sadly, things have been more than boring during our periods without Reese, but Dominic was doing some wild things! Drawing the 50 States??!?! Bro is crazy...Another lowlight of this week is that I wasn't able to go on the Pride Parade Field Trip...It just had to coincidentally happen the same day as my little sister's baptismal...But it's okay I'll maybe go next year...My final lowlight of the week is that Strictly Ill has been draining. Honestly, I don't even want to be there anymore. It's not bad but it's not good in my opinion either...
Lesson Learned... —
of this week is... To be mindful of your actions. One selfish action can not only affect you, but everyone else around you. Another part of this lesson that I learned was that it's important to think about how people are affected by you and by other thing. In addition, it's important to know that everyone is watching you. People in Leadership are expected big and unfair expectations all the time.
