QB3: FLEETING AND FLEEING ⏳💤
THIS QUARTER::💙💓💣💥
honestly baffled me. Now that its officially spring break, I can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia and reminiscence. First of all, thinking about 3rd quarter and ending it off with elementary dance comp just floods my mind on how long its been. I still remember just moving into my house a year ago and laying on the couch thinking, "I gotta write my 3rd quarter blog" and writing it as I watched shows. It makes me really unreal. I can't believe its been that long. Thinking about it now 4th quarter, the busiest, and yet quickest and longest quarter is soon. In addition it makes me think about my 7th graders and how I was just like them last year and how theyre already taking on after us and how they are even more dependable and reliable than they were in first quarter. Not that they werent helpful at all but theyre growing so much and it reminds me of myself last year and all of the current 8th grade class last year. Like... just a year ago I got my guitar. Just a year ago I turned 13... gosh this is very nostaglic. JUST A YEAR AGO I WENT TO LONGS TO GET THE CARD WITH JOOLIN AND JAYDIN FOR MR ING. speaking of which, luncheon this year was so fun. It was so great relating to the old 8th graders and THE CARD ALEX GOT WAS AWESEOME. It was so funny when he was like opening it slowly and eveeyone was like woah...... Another thing that happened this quarter was orientation practice and elementary dance comp. ANother thing is that I wrote my script for orientation AND HONESTLY. I really like my role in orientation... We also had graduation picture taking and spirit week! WHICH WAS ABSOLUTLEY FIRE! LIKE I HAD WAY MORE FUN THAT LAST YEAR. I LOOVVED BUILDING THE DRAGON! Another thing that happened was NHD. if I were to describe my wallet and its condition this quarter, I am probably incredibly broke. I did not make the best finacial decisions.... i think I spent over 300.....ANYWAYS ALSO THIS QUARTER IM GETTING MY OWN ROOM! Also this quarter I made a lot of drawings... whcih was absolutely fire. I also got to strengthen my bonds with the7th graders I literally love them all so much like SERIOUS. This quarter I also learned Still Waiting by SUm 41. I practically know the entire song but the tempo... Im not up to tempo. Also I read a lot of books this quarter and watched plenty of documentaries this quarter and sonic gameplays, edits, and ... unboxing videos (DONT MAKE FUN OF ME I LOVE UNBOXING VIDEOS.) Another thing that happened this quarter was my birthday. Cant believe im 14. I had a fun birthday. I LEARNED HOW TO ROLLERBLADE AND ROLLER SKATE. Another thing is that there was a mongoose.. in our classroom.... HOSTESS I GOT SOO MUCH COOL FIGURINES AND TOYS THIS WUARTER. AND I REWATCHED THE SONIC 3 MOVIE LIKE 5 TIMES. FIRST OF ALL, FIRST OF ALL... i need to watch it more but I've been in a nostiagic mood so Im revisiting sonic underground and sonic x and also BLACK CLOVER. anyways did you know that sonic literally never mentions his name or no one mentions sonic's name to shadow? If you read the scripts, shadow only hears the robotniks refer to sonic as hedgehog. Hence why shadow calls him hedgehog and sonic only knows shadows name through a military information briefing thing. ALso speaking of scripts, SOUTH PARK. the show that officially has ruined my life and can't stop making references to just like sonic..... Seriously WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON IN SOUTH PARK. THERE WAS A LICE EPSIODE. LIKE WHAT. you can't be serious dude. Also I watched neon genesis evangelion and now i believe its the closest thing I can call a fever dream... Also I introduced myself tooo a lot of music.. and even went back to listening to some of my old stuff like vocaloid. I love rewatching old shows like geuinely it helps me recall a lot and why I lvoed the show so much and even listening to the fire intros and outros is just absolutely awesome. Also this quarter 7th graders started box! I WAS SOOO HAPPY! Also this quarter my dad and my brother had their birthdays! I freaking loovee cake with strawberries.. Also another thing is that I watched sonic zombies I love vengeance arc guys. HOOBA DOOBA?? YABADABADOO? WE ALSO FINISHED YEARBOOK! YAHHO> I also love the period 5 shenegians this quarter like we watched southpark and we even watched gacha videos.... AND POLLITICAL GACHA MUSIC VIDEOS LIKE WTF.
HIGHTLIGHTS & LOWLIGHTS::
My highlights of this quarter would be practically everything I've learned this quarter. The cave diver incidents, the commericial driver accidents, protesters versus cars, the documentaries, and all the useless information they not only gives me more to talk about but also more to reference to! FOR EXAMPLE DID YOU KNOW THAT SONIC'S POSE IN SUPER SMASH BROS IS A REFERENCE TO THE POSE THAT SONIC MAKES IN THE FIRST SONIC MOVIE ON HIS CHASE WITH EGGMAN. like how he goes pulling the coolest poses... Another thing is that I've almost finsihed learning still waiting. Its so fun. LIKE IM HAVING SO MUCH FUN WITH MY GUITAR LESSONS AHAHAH. Another highlight is that I got sooo many cool things. Like I got my shadow figurine I was waiting WEEKS TO OPEN and I got two other fugglers, spongebob and Sir Jeremy Potato. Maybe I might be calling him Popping Potatoes. I also got more legos. SONIC LEGOS. I got tail's tornado! HES SO COOL. I WANNA GET THE BIOLIZARD ONE AND THE BOAT. ITS SOOO SOO COOL! I also got more figurines,,, LIKE I HAVE METAL SONIC, AND AMY AND MIGHTY AND ANOTHER KNUCKLES AND ITS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. I also watched neon genesis and its absolutely crazy. LIKE THE MAIN CHARACTER IS IN 8TH - 9TH GRADE AND HES FIGHTING ABSOLUTELY M ONSTER CREATURES. Another highlight is my new sketchbooks and my paintings... speaking of which I MADE A SONIC WEEZER PAINTINGS. Also another highlight is my room! I'm getting my own room and I GOT POSTERS AND IM GONNA GET A SELF TO PUT MY FIGURINES ON! Speaking of posters, I went to holomuas book fair! I got such cool posters...! ANOTHER HIGHLIGHT IS YEARBOOK!!! FINALLY OVER! Another highlight is that we started magic notes.Some lowlights of this quarter would be the stress and tests. But that'll always be a lowlight but the best I can do is to believe in myself. Another lowlight would be the teachers assigning stuff at the LAST WEEK OF THIRD QUARTER, AND NOT EVEN MENTIONING THAT ITS FOURTH QUARTER WORK. cough cough,,... MR DAMO. also another lowlight would be Mrs Leonardi. THE SUB I GEUINELY AM SO PERPLEXED BY.... those few weeks were terrrible.. ESPECIALLY THE STUPID POSTER THING. another lowlight would be my wallet. it practically has cobwebs from it ... but hey I got some cool figurines and I got cool things. which is AWESOME! Another lowlight would be losing motivation for certain things. I just don't seem up to doing certain things.
LESSON(s) LEARNED::
My overall most important lesson learned of this quarter, it would be that every winner has to lose. In summary, its okay to fail. it's okay to fumble. Everyone has their setbacks and failures before achieving certain goals. Sometimes you need to except that failures serve as learning experiences and opportunities for yourself to grow. Another lesson I learned is that relying on others can lift a weight off of your shoulders and honestly calm yourself. However, relying on someone just means you have to try as hard as well because you can rely on someone all the time. Another important lesson I've learned is that sometimes focusing on one thing too much can make you forget about the other things. Sometimes I get too focused on one thing and forget another but sometimes making checklists help me out A LOT.
