Weekly Blog #4 : WRANGLED WIRES (8/28-9/1)
This week… — ๐๐
wasn’t so bad! Also responding to my blog last week about my science test… I ACED IT!! Literally it wasn’t even that hard either. Next, we have a science assessment that’s only five questions. I hope it’s easy but I’m quite worried because it’ll be easy to get a bad grade on it... But I’ll make sure to review on Tuesday. This week Mr. Cole came back, and I was a bit relieved since I didn’t know what I was doing for my one pager… but after he clarified it was all good. Also, in Leadership, during this week we learned about the camera’s ISO and Shutter Speed since the intramural, flag football, was coming up. We learned how it affects the picture and things we don’t want to do when we’re taking pictures. Basically, experimenting with ISO and Shutter. As we took pictures, Alex kept getting the camera with a blurry lens or one that wouldn’t focus… meanwhile Cassell was the one who kept getting the newer camera. In fact, as we were taking photos, He even tried to take a picture of a chicken in a tree!! Actually, on Thursday me and Mal went to McDonald’s, and it was funny because we saw Mark, Reese, Gabby, Layla, Amaya, and some other people! Also, since period three was in charge of music this week, Cassell kept playing some…strange songs. I never got to put in many songs but that was because I needed to work on my playlist… I need to change some of the songs. Needs more variety. Anyway, we are working TV next week! Now is my chance to ask any questions I have about setting up TV.
A few highlights of this week…—
would be what I did on Friday! On Friday, after Mr. Ing went over counting money and stuff, I stayed a bit after school and I got to do lots of things with Mal, Jayden, and Cassell! But Cassell had to leave since he takes the bus home. However, he was there for like 10 minutes. Anyway, Mal taught me how to skate!! Mal also taught Cassell and that was quite…interesting. It was quite the experience…like the skateboard kept going backwards and almost hit some people… Moving on!! Mal is an amazing teacher when it comes to skating. Like even though I had a tiny bit of experience on rode skateboarding, I was able to catch on and understand. Afterwards Jayden, Mal, and I just talked and rode around the parking lot. It was also my first-time riding with someone on an electric bike! I thought I would fall off and get scraped or something! Thank goodness Jayden was the one driving it…
Some lowlights of this week…—
Is the fact that I had trouble choosing songs for music and also, I FORGOT HOW TO WRAP WIRES… it is literally the simplest thing ever…I did it amazing when I was working music on Thursday but Friday… Instead of Cassell needing to be taught how to wrap them, it was me… pretty embarrassing!!! I felt so bad for Reese to watch... plus Alex kept saying it looks like the tables have turned…I won’t let that happen next time. But luckily it was all periods on Friday, and I had period three next. If it was even periods... I would’ve been extremely late!
Lesson learned… —
I need to work on practicing how to wrap wires… that was crazy embarrassing!! Like I literally was the worst on Friday… I can’t stop thinking about it! I’ll make sure to practice at home… that way I’ll be better! In conclusion, this week was not that bad! I’m glad it’s only four days next week and that there’s a three-day weekend! I don’t know what I’ll do over the weekend, but I know that next week will surely be eventful now that we're having flag football. Let’s hope that I don’t fail my assessment and that next week will go smoothly!
