Weekly Blog #7 : JOSEPH..? (9/18-9-22)
This week… — ππ
This week we finally finished flag football!! Now we’re moving on to TEAM flag football… anyway, that Math test I was rambling about last week wasn’t so bad! I got a 91 which is like technically still an A. Anyway, my math grade dropped by like 20% but it’s still at 100!! Also, during math, I was on the verge of tears, and I was literally SOOO confused. I’m glad I did decent though! I learned from my mistakes when we corrected it. Also on Tuesday, I got a library card! I borrowed like three books. Right now, I’m currently reading a novel called, “The Night Circus.” I really love books that relate to mystery and romance. It’s a pretty good book in my opinion! It’s about a circus that appears at night and goes away at dawn and these two magicians fall in love. Basically, an enemy to lover's troupe. In addition to me obtaining a library card, I remember yelling so loud! Jewelyn and Mal told me to say, "Love you too!" Back to them! And when I did…I was a bit loud…But they heard me! Also. Uhm... Cassell brought this weird little baby to school…he probably picked it up from the street or something. Its name was. Joshua? Joseph? John? I kind of forgot its name. Anyway, right now as you’re reading this blog, that baby is crammed tightly inside his cubby!! Moving on!!! During Science, we had to watch ice melt. IT TOOK THE ENTIRE CLASS PERIOD!! I mean it was sort of interesting even thought I already knew that salt would melt the ice faster… Anyway, along with this, I also got Mal’s skateboard... but I CAN'T bring it home… I wish I could though. Last but not least, I found out that the 7th graders are able to go on TV… I DON’T WANNA GO ON TV. At least not yet. Also, Cassell keeps saying he’ll do cringey things on TV… I mean I’m not upset about it but like WHY?!!! I almost forgot to mention but this week we also had to do a tour for Campbell’s teachers. I wonder why they even wanted to visit our school…
Some Highlights… —
Of this whole week is my math test and my friend giving me food. PHEW!! I’m glad I got a good grade on my Unit Test… I don’t want to fail and drop out of Pre-Algebra. I’m glad I did those worksheets beforehand. It got me a lot of practice. I really appreciate my dad for helping me study a bit. Thank goodness my grades are dropping to rock bottom…Moving on to another highlight! My friend, Azalea, gave me food. She gave me ramen!! She even gave my other friends some too! She’s so nice and caring…THANKS AZALEA!!
A Couple Lowlights… —
Of my week was that I kept forgetting to bring a snack for myself to eat… I keep forgetting to eat. Which isn’t good!! I’m trying to remember but I just always forget since I’m trying to leave the house in a hurry… Along with this… I got hit in the head with people's backpacks … TWICE!! I even dropped my phone and almost got stepped on…PLUS I got hit with a water bottle...!! But I don’t know what happened because everyone started screaming and running all of a sudden and the next thing I knew, I was whacked in the head with people's things. My final lowlight was that in science, me and my friend Ava were in a group with this girl…but I tried to include her, but I didn’t even know her name. And she wouldn’t even talk! I felt guilty for not including her, but she like didn’t want to cooperate at all either!!
Lesson of the Week… —
I need to get better at talking with people. Especially people I work with in a group for a short time. I don’t want what happened in science happen again… I mean she didn’t want to talk but I could’ve invoked her somehow to start a conversation and maybe I would’ve been able to have more ideas for my assignment…But the past is in the past! At least I learned from it.! I'll try learning think of more ways to start conversations with people.
