Weekly Blog #5 : WE’RE NOT MONKEYS! (9/5-9/8)

 This week… — ☀️☀️

…was SOOO hot and super crazy at the end!! Literally it was so hot outside during the intramural or flag foot ball! I was actually turning red! I think I got sun burned… my face hurt a bit afterwards. I was sweating sooo much I even wore a jacket in the sun… after flag football, we had to fix the equipment and for some reason, the bag Alex had, was SOAKED… in probably sweat…yuck!! Also back on my blog from last week I mentioned a science assessment…but I found out I actually didn’t have an assessment this week… it was next week…!!! I was worried for nothing. Studying will be easy and I’ll probably get an B or ace it.Anyway, This week we were working TV! Our Periods Intros this week were so amazing. Especially the one Reese made for Dominic on Friday. I learned a lot about setting up TV. I honestly thought I was gonna struggle but it’s actually not that hard when there isn’t any problems. The menu was actually like a day off.. so like this week we kept getting the food wrong…Since we worked TV, we also worked after school sales. Reese and Biannishy told me we should be quick when setting up. I’ll make sure to keep note of that…ALSO! On Friday, it was quite the experience! Seven or Eight fights in one day?! That’s literally crazy! The fact that I knew some of the people were in the fights makes it even crazier… during the fight I literally almost got trampled on… people’s phones were everywhere… 

This Week’s Highlights… —

This week wasn’t really good… but my highlights would be when I stayed after school till 3:30 on Tuesday and Friday! On Tuesday, I hung out with Mal, Cassell, and some of my other friends. We climbed the tree and security called us monkeys… On Friday, Me, Mal Jayden, Cassell, Dominic, Mark, Jabez, and some other people played volley ball! Later on me and Mal went to 711 and we got slushees!! Mountain Dew isn’t that bad surprisingly! I still gotta pay Mal back… but I’ll do it when I actually have money!!

 Lowlights Of This Week… — 

This week has a lot of mistakes..A lowlight of this week would be Tuesday. On Tuesday, Cassell, Alex, and Me were late for flag football. I’m addition to this mistake, me and Alex forgot our vests!!! I literally put it right on my desk too! I can’t believe I forgot to bring it with me… I’m glad Mr. Ing let us grab it. I swear me and Alex would’ve been so screwed!! Reese made us do pushups for every time we were late. After Tuesday, me, Alex and Cassell made sure to always be there on time. I LITERALLY DO NOT WANT TO DO PUSH-UPS FOR THAT AGAIN…!!! My final lowlight is that I spilled my slushie on my clothes! I even had no extra clothes… I’ll make sure to have some with me next time just in case…

My Lesson(s) Learned… — 

ALWAYS BRING YOUR VEST WITH YOU and  ALWAYS BE ON TIME! These are major lessons I learned this week. Even though I thought I wouldn’t have forgotten it, I did. Now I bring my vest literally everywhere with me, in my backpack! Even though I might not need to do it exactly all the time… I think I’ll just leave it in my bag so I have it on me. Being on time is another huge thing because Reese will make us do push-ups..again..and maybe something else if it’s worse! I should have clarified with Reese before leaving for my second class. I’ll make sure to do so next time! I learned lots this week!!
